Nayan is currently a PhD candidate at the department of Political Science at University of Delhi. During his undergraduate and masters he studied the human rights challenges and concerns specific to Indian democratic context within the field of political science. His interests are very diverse ranging from AI governance, climate change, education, state-market relationship and labour in urban informal economy. Previously he was a 'SAMARTH Fellow' with Sarva Sandhi Foundation and has worked as a field researcher with Centre for Social and Economic Progress on condition of secondary education in India.
