Felipe Chitic-Luis is currently an undergraduate student at Rutgers University–Newark, where he studies Anthropology, Public Policy and Social Justice, and is a member of the Honors Living-Learning Community. Felipe’s academic research centers Indigenous communities and seeks to bridge historical memory, oral history, and transitional justice in post-conflict societies in Latin America. He also serves as an Education Research Intern with IXE Advising, exploring culturally responsive pedagogy and education.
Previously, he completed a UCLA Labor Center Fellowship with Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees (GCIR), where he conducted comparative policy research on issues affecting immigrant and refugee communities in the United States.
