Simra Sohail is a lawyer, lecturer, and researcher with a strong focus on human rights law, public law, and governance. She teaches with the University of London International Programmes, currently lecturing in Jurisprudence and Legal Theory, European Union Law, and Tort Law at LGS International Degree Programme.
A graduate of the University of London with an Upper Second-Class Honours degree and distinctions, Simra has gained valuable professional experience through internships with leading law firms and human rights organisations in Pakistan, including Haidermota & Co. and the Research Society of International Law. She has actively contributed to the field of human rights through research, advocacy, and legal scholarship, with her work published in prominent national and international law journals.
In her role as Editor at the Human Rights Research Center, Simra aims to bring her legal expertise and editorial experience to support impactful human rights advocacy, foster informed dialogue, and advance research that addresses pressing global challenges.
