Samina Singh

Samina is incredibly excited to be a part of the HRRC team. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2021, majoring in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Neuroscience, and double minors in Spanish and Anthropology, as well as a certificate in International Humanitarian Law. Following her graduation, she worked in humanitarian aid, focusing on early childhood development and education for children affected by conflict across the Middle East, and has recently pivoted into racial and social justice work as she prepares to attend law school in the fall. Samina intends to continue her focus on human rights and global justice while at school to become a stronger advocate for marginalized communities around the world.
Outside of work, Samina enjoys spending time outside, reading, running, and exploring her city.
