Paul Gould recently completed a master’s degree in History from the University of Maryland, with a thesis focused on the democratizing role of the jury in colonial-era Maryland. His research interests include American and British legal history, environmental and human rights, and criminal justice. His previous professional work for a restorative justice non-profit influenced his desire to explore legal remedies to social and criminal justice issues. He intends to continue his exploration of theses topics in law school beginning in Fall 2027.
