Growing up in India, Nandhini Devaraj saw how access to information or the lack of it could shape people’s lives. This sparked her curiosity about data and its role in telling stories that matter. She later moved to the U.S. to pursue a master’s degree in Data Analytics at The George Washington University, after earning her bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Nandhini is passionate about using data to shed light on social issues and help drive meaningful change. She has worked on research that explores inequalities and patterns in society, always looking for ways to turn complex information into insights that can make a difference. At HRRC, she is excited to contribute to research that challenges injustice, amplifies underrepresented voices, and works toward a more fair and equitable world.
