Lucía is an undergraduate student in the final semester of the Bachelor of International Studies with a minor in French language studies at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Lucía is originally from Argentina, but has also lived in Germany and Chile for many years, and now Australia. These international experiences have fostered her passion in international relations and languages.
In the past, Lucía completed an internship at the Consulate General of Chile in Melbourne, where she engaged in fast-paced consular work and learned a lot about Australian and Latin American relations. After graduating from her Bachelor's degree, Lucía plans on moving to Spain and pursuing a Master's degree in International Politics, or a related field in an EU country.
She is very passionate about human rights issues, having done research on gendered global security narratives and democratic accountability, and the structural inequalities within international governance frameworks. Overall, Lucía has focused on the decline of democratic values and autonomy internationally and its implications.
