Debra Epstein has more than 30 years of experience as a communications leader. Throughout her career, Debra has used internal and external communications to inform, influence, persuade, and inspire. She most recently served as the Vice President of Communications for West Coast University and American Career College, where she ensured alignment and consistency of communications across channels to all university audiences. Previously, she served as the Vice President of Communications for Walden University and was responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership employee, student, faculty, academic, and crisis communications. Earlier in her career, Debra served in leadership roles in communications at Canon U.S.A., American Management Systems, and Edison Electric Institute. Debra has solid writing, editing, and analytic skills. Her collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves approach has made her a respected and trusted partner in translating complex and difficult topics into clear, compelling, and easy-to-understand communications for diverse audiences.
