Kaylee Zimmerman

Research Analyst

Kaylee is a recent graduate of Colorado University, Boulder, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Ethnic Studies. Currently working as a Medical Assistant at an OBGYN office, she brings a deep-seated passion for advocacy in the field of medicine.

 

During her college years, Kaylee served as a Learning Assistant Mentor, where she played a pivotal role in teaching Learning Assistants effective pedagogical techniques and designed and presented lectures on various topics, including how to adapt teaching methods for neurodiverse students.

 

In May, Kaylee plans to embark on the journey towards PA school, with a strong desire to make a difference in underserved populations. Her areas of interest extend to under researched realms of medicine, particularly those affecting women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and linguistic minorities. With a commitment to improving healthcare access and quality, Kaylee aspires to be a catalyst for positive change in healthcare practices.
