Deanna Wilken

Deanna Wilken is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Sociology and has an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Nottingham. With over 10 years’ experience in operations, program management, research, and communications, Deanna has utilized her expertise to monitor human rights issues around the world. Her earlier research focused on global human trafficking and led to the founding of her first nonprofit, Project Trafficked. After nearly five years, Deanna decided to combine her work with Project Trafficked into a broader human rights organization, leading to the creation of Human Rights Research Center. In addition to establishing HRRC with Co-Founder Eli Szydlo, she serves as Operations Manager at Torture Abolition and Survivors Support Coalition (TASSC) International.
