Sarah Kane is a graduate of Duke University with a B.A. in Public Policy, a minor in History, and a certificate in Human Rights. She received an M.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in conflict and conflict resolution at the George Washington University. She is passionate about the promotion of human rights and the international community's responsibility to protect the most vulnerable. Sarah's previous work has focused on the effects of armed conflict on civilians and refugees. She previously worked with two NGOs that serve refugees: Kiron in Berlin, Germany, and InfoPark in Belgrade, Serbia. She also served as in multiple roles, including Chief Operating Officer, at Genocide Watch. Sarah currently works at the International Campaign for Tibet as the Global Partnerships Associate.
