Nyra Wise

Nyra is a recent graduate from Barnard College of Columbia University who earned a degree in Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies with a minor in Psychology. She has a passion for storytelling and digital media and is dedicated to driving transformative change through nonprofit work. 

 

She is committed to empowering marginalized voices and developing strong, inclusive communities through storytelling because it is affirming and at the basis of all essential community building efforts. Most of all, Nyra is devoted to imagining the ways our world can be built better and differently through Black Feminist and Indigenous theories and practices of radical living and transformation.
