Trisha Sayal

Trisha Sayal is a current undergraduate student at the George Washington University completing a B.S. in Political Science and Statistics. Some of her primary academic interests include comparative politics, immigration and refugee policy, and human rights law. Trisha has previously interned with the Coalition for Human Rights and Development, pursuing financial flow research to link banks and shareholders to unethical and exploitative development projects, and the Darfur Women Action Group, advocating for humanitarian aid to internally-displaced communities amidst the ongoing Sudanese civil war. After graduation, she plans to attend law school, focusing on immigration and refugee law to continue helping those in need.
