Jayna Brisibe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology from Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, and a Master of Arts in Public Policy with a specialization in Social Justice and Human Rights from Central European University in Vienna, Austria. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of sustainable development, human rights, social justice, and global resource governance.
Her master's thesis examined cobalt mining in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, exploring its relationship to sustainable development and neocolonialism. Drawing on her interdisciplinary background in anthropology, sociology, and public policy, Jayna is committed to advancing equitable and socially responsible approaches to policy and development.
