Selda Dudu, PhD

Research Analyst, Labor Migration & Rights

Selda Dudu has a BSc in International Relations from the Middle East Technical University, one of the leading universities in Turkey, a MA in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations with a minor in Social Policy from Gazi University in Turkey, a MA in Labor Sciences from the University of Seville in Spain, and a PhD in Sociology from the University of Seville. She completed her PhD with the dissertation title, “International Labor Migration Determinants: The Case of Turkish Migration to the European Union 2008-2018“, in which she investigated migrants’ integration policies into the labor market in the EU.

Selda Dudu is an expert in labor economics and migration. She uses quantitative, qualitative, action research, mixed methods with large data, analytical software, and survey packages, such as STATA, R and EXCEL. She is the author of several peer-reviewed articles, reports, book chapters, and conference proceedings.
